The position
We are looking for someone to help establish the infrastructure behind Sweden's largest Electronic Health Record system.
As a member of the IT Operations and Infrastructure team, you will be part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining the medical records system as a service to our customers. This entails focusing on the database platform and being responsible for the central operation of the databases. This includes working on critical areas such as clustering, optimization, sizing, availability, administration, and management of internal and external environments.

About you
We believe your passion lies within the realm of databases. You collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear information flow. You solve problems based on a fact-based approach with measurability and statistics. To deliver databases as a service effectively, it's important to be proactive and meticulous, continuously improving management for long-term stability and security.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in database operations and maintenance, primarily with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Always On Clustering
- Experience on database optimization and fine tuning for high performance
- Experience with scripting and automation
- Experience with monitoring
- Ability to communicate in Swedish and English
It's a bonus if you have
- Experience with databases other than Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with e-health system databases
- Experience with Atlassian systems ie Jira, Confluence
- Experience with database encryption
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of DevOps principles
Place of employment: Stockholm, Linköping or remote

Scope: Full time
