Incident Manager within eHealth

The position
As an Incident Manager at Cambio, you will hold a key role in ensuring stable and reliable operations across our services. You will have a clear mandate to prioritize, coordinate, and drive incident-related work, acting as the central point of control throughout the entire incident lifecycle – from registration to resolution.
You will oversee and coordinate multiple incidents simultaneously, act as the first escalation point, and ensure that resources and actions are aligned according to business impact and urgency. The role includes leading major incidents end-to-end, making prioritization decisions when needed, and ensuring effective collaboration across teams. You will also follow up on root causes to prevent recurrence and provide insights that drive continuous improvement of our incident management processes.
You will work closely with support teams, technical teams, business stakeholders, customers, and external vendors, with the authority to coordinate efforts and ensure timely and effective resolutions.
Your responsibilities
Lead, prioritize, and coordinate major incidents, ensuring effective communication and alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, and management.
Act as the central decision-making and escalation point during incidents, ensuring that actions and resources are focused where they create the greatest impact.
Analyze incident trends, follow up on root causes, and drive improvement actions to reduce risk and recurrence.
Participate in on-call duties and manage incidents outside regular working hours when required.
Document and report incidents, and contribute to training, guidance, and continuous development of colleagues and processes.
Collaborate closely with internal and external parties to ensure efficient coordination, clear ownership, and continuous improvement in incident management.
About you
As an Incident Manager at Cambio, you are a strong and confident communicator who can clearly convey information to both technical teams and business stakeholders, even in high-pressure situations. You are comfortable taking ownership and making prioritization decisions, ensuring that the right actions are taken at the right time.
You approach incidents with a structured and analytical mindset, quickly identifying root causes and proposing effective improvements. Remaining calm and focused when handling multiple incidents or major disruptions comes naturally to you, and you are not afraid to escalate issues or challenge ways of working when necessary. You thrive in collaborative environments and act as a natural coordinator, bringing people together to achieve the best possible outcomes. Proactive and improvement-driven, you actively contribute to a positive, transparent, and learning-oriented team culture.

Requirements
Experience in support, incident management, or similar tasks.
Ability to lead and coordinate incidents, even under pressure.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with process improvements.
Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with various stakeholders.
Experience with ITIL processes and working in ITSM tools is an advantage.
Relevant education in IT/technology or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience.
Fluent in Swedish and English
Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm
Scope: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
