I started the YPP after I graduated from university and I belive the program provided a great transition from the classroom to the workplace. The program gave a good introduction to Cambio as a company and to Cambio’s products - how they work and how they are used, an overall perspective that has been very valuable when working here after the program. It was also nice to have a group of people to share the experience with that has given me a very broad network within the company today. We also got to visit our office in Sri Lanka, which was very nice!

I started out working as a full-stack developer for about three years after the trainee program, first with our Medication module and later with our Care Documentation module, before I switched to the Product Owner role. As Product Owner my main task is to maintain a backlog and prioritize what my development team should do to maximize our value towards our customers and make day-to-day decisions to get us there. To do this, I need to have a deep knowledge about my product as well as a good understanding of the customer needs and their business domain. I think that this role is a fun combination of being close to the technology parts of the product but at the same being close to the customers and working with the long-term strategy of the product.

I really enjoy working with IT in the Healthcare sector and it feels good to work with a product that provides something good for society. It is a very exciting sector with an exciting future. Something that I also value a lot is the gender ratio within Cambio, where the ratio is more equal, which I think contributes to a better company culture.

Though question, I can’t just pick one! In my spare time I enjoy doing some powerlifting in the gym, watching Premier league football and looking for fashion inspiration on Instagram.
