System Engineer within observability
Cambio is one of the Nordics' leading suppliers in e-health with a comprehensive offering for the entire health and care chain. Our e-health solutions supports health care professionals in their daily work and offer patients safer and more easily accessible care. We are proud to be an important part of Swedish healthcare. We are growing continuously and now have about 1000 employees in several countries.
The position
We are looking for someone to help build the infrastructure, with a particular focus on monitoring, behind Sweden's largest electronic medical records system. As a member of the IT Operations and Infrastructure team, you will be part of a team responsible for operating and maintaining the medical records system as a service to our customers.
In this role, you will perform full lifecycle engineering activities — including design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance — for our enterprise observability platforms, primarily Dynatrace and Grafana. You’ll work across a complex IT landscape that includes both on-premises infrastructure and cloud-integrated systems and applications. A key part of your responsibilities will be to configure events, create meaningful alerts, and implement alarm strategies that support proactive monitoring and fast incident response.
We also expect you to proactively design strategies to gain real-time insights and identify potential issues before they escalate. To succeed in this, we believe you have a genuine interest in understanding the services we deliver to our customers — and in using that understanding to drive continuous improvements.
Your work will be essential in providing end-to-end visibility, ensuring system reliability, and optimizing performance across our entire technology environment.
We offer:
- The opportunity to design and build custom dashboards using Dynatrace and Grafana, unifying data across multiple platforms to enable faster issue resolution and clear performance insights
- The chance to join a cutting-edge, tech-driven team of passionate experts working with modern technologies and industry best practices, where you get to collaborate with automation, networking, and OpenShift teams to drive the creation of critical IT-OPS dashboards
- A vital role in a critical area where your work directly influences the reliability and success of our customers’ operations
- A dynamic environment full of new challenges and a broad technology stack to keep your skills sharp and your work exciting
- Technical freedom to influence the tools and technologies you work with, empowering you to craft the best solutions
About you
We are looking for you who have analytical and technical skills and believe you are a team player, but you also have the capability to work with tasks independently. You have excellent communication skills and have no problem having several dialogues with different stakeholders simultaneously.
At Cambio, we value initiative and personal growth. Our culture is built on Trust, Care, and Together, values we believe are important to both our work and our people. It’s important to us that you recognize and identify with these values.

- Experience and knowledge within distributed systems including those with microservices and hybrid infrastructure (cloud/on-premises) to effectively design pipelines, build monitoring systems, and implement observability practices
- Good understanding of scripting with Ansible or YAML, for setup, data collection, and implementation on monitoring tools
- Can communicate fluently in both spoken and written English
It's a bonus if you have
- Experience with OpenShift monitoring
- Experience with alerting services such as PagerDuty
- Knowledge of NXLog or Logstash
- Knowledge of log aggregation tools like OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, or Graylog
- Experience from Azure, AWS or other public or internal cloud
