IT Operations Manager

The position
As the IT operation manager, you will lead a team that focuses on the technology platforms where our services run. These platforms consist of technology layers as container, operative systems, observability, network/connectivity and an interface to our hosting partners that delivers datacenter services. This is your core business, and for us in Cambio to deliver according to our customers' expectations, you will need to work in a DevOps context. The DevOps structure comprises of a joint delivery model internally with our customer teams, development teams and product teams, to ensure that the technology platform you run are fit for purpose and ready for adapting to new demands. You will lead a team of around 30 people located in Linköping, Stockholm, and Sri Lanka. You will report to the IT Director and be part of our skilled IT management team, working alongside six other managers.

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire your team – from recruiting new talent to supporting their growth through performance reviews and development opportunities.
- Be a key player in the IT management team, helping shape strategy and spotting smart tech solutions that boost how we work and help us reach our goals.
- Build strong internal relationships, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and smooth collaboration.
- Partner with external vendors and service providers, making sure we get great value and reliable service.
- Keep our IT policies sharp and relevant, making sure they support compliance, efficiency, and cybersecurity. You'll regularly review and update them to stay ahead of business and industry changes.
About you
You have experience leading larger teams and have worked within medium to large organizations—preferably with partner relationships as part of your role. In this position, prior experience with IT delivery and specifically application operations are highly valued. While technical skills are a plus, it’s your leadership qualities that are in focus.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and have a structured approach to getting the right things done. You are a natural networker, with strong social skills, you can as easily communicate with the nerdiest of techs as well as to executive stakeholders.

Requirements
- Minimum of three years in IT management or a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing IT systems, developing IT processes and implementing secure infrastructure is essential.
- Proven ability to recruit, manage, mentor, and retain IT talent, fostering a high-performing team.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes in practice.
- Good knowledge of IT security and cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English
Additional information: The role involves access to sensitive information, therefore a background check will be conducted on the final candidate.
The recruitment process will include a problem-solving test as well as a personality test.
Place of employment: Linköping
Scope: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
