The position
We are seeking an IAM Specialist to manage and maintain our enterprise IAM services, ensuring secure, reliable, and compliant identity solutions for internal and external stakeholders. You will be a part of our IT Security team and in this role, you will work closely with stakeholders such as IT Operations and IAM architects.
As an IAM Specialist, you will drive operational excellence, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our identity and access services. Your work ensures secure and efficient access to critical systems—strengthening Swedish healthcare and contributing to a safer society.
In addition, you will take a hands-on role in implementing configuration changes, integrating systems, and maintaining secure operations while ensuring high availability across IAM and PAM platforms. Working closely with infrastructure, code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation, you will continuously enhance and streamline our identity landscape to support a resilient and future-ready environment.

Responsibilites
Manage and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, including Identity Provider (IdP) services, with responsibilities spanning certificate lifecycle management and federation configuration.
Manage and maintain Privileged Access Management (PAM) integrating with Entra, Active Directory, and other directory services.
Diagnose and resolve authentication and authorization issues within complex environments.
Implement configuration changes and facilitate the onboarding of new customers and services.
Conduct thorough functional testing after updates to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, configurations, and operational modifications.
Collaborate with architecture and development teams to ensure operational alignment with strategic objectives.
Offer technical expertise and occasional direct customer engagement for IAM-related inquiries.

You thrive on solving complex authentication and authorization challenges with a structured, methodical approach. Adaptability is key in this role—you are comfortable implementing configuration changes, onboarding new services, and staying ahead of evolving IAM technologies.
As a true team player, you work seamlessly with architecture, development, and customer teams to achieve both strategic and operational goals. Your attention to detail ensures accurate documentation and precision in certificate and federation management.
You bring hands-on technical expertise in IAM, PAM, and directory services, complemented by strong troubleshooting and scripting skills. Most importantly, you are customer-focused, ready to engage directly with clients and provide expert guidance on IAM-related questions.
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience implementing and operating IAM technologies (IdPs, federation, authentication flows).
Solid understanding of authentication and authorization (SAML, OAuth2, OIDC, WS-Fed).
Proficiency in certificate management and metadata configuration.
Experience troubleshooting identity issues across complex enterprise and hybrid environments.
Strong knowledge of Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity architectures
Experience with automation and scripting
Familiarity with IGA solutions.
It's a bonus if you have
Experience deploying and maintaining IGA solutions and building connectors/API integrations.
Experience integrating with Swedish identity providers (e.g., Inera).
Knowledge of HSA Schema (Catalogue Service for E-Health).
Additional information:
We will start the selection process after the holidays and you will hear from us no later than week 3.
Place of employment: Linköping or Stockholm
Scope: Full-time, hybrid work model (three days per week in-office)
Form of employment: Permanent employment, 6 months trial period
